Graham Street Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice from 01st of January 2024.
Payment is required on the day of your consultation and can be made via EFTPOS, credit card, or cash. Medicare rebates are available online and will be deposited into your registered bank account within 24-48 hours. Alternatively, you can receive your rebate instantly through the Tyro system using EFTPOS (Note: we are not able to do Medicare rebates to credit cards). If your bank account is not registered with Medicare, please register online at www.medicareaustralia.com.au
If you do not receive your Medicare rebate within 48 hours, please contact Medicare at 132 011.
We will continue to bulk bill the following groups:
Please ensure you present a valid Medicare and concession card at your appointment, as we cannot bulk bill without a valid card.
General consultations are available weekdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Appointments for reviews, prescriptions, referrals, and results are offered at a discounted rate for all patients.
All patients must schedule an appointment with their GP for prescriptions, results, reviews, and referrals. In exceptional cases, doctors may issue repeat prescriptions and referrals, but this service does not extend to new prescriptions or referrals, and fees will apply.

General Practice Management Plans (GPMP), Team Care Arrangements, and Health Assessments will be bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card.
A fee will apply for dressing materials not covered by Medicare. Please ask Reception for more details.
Non-Attendance Fees: Patients who miss their appointments will be charged a $40 non-attendance fee (GST inclusive), which cannot be claimed through Medicare. This fee must be paid in full before your next visit.
TAC and Workcover Patients:
We will bill TAC or Workcover directly on the day of consultation, provided:
Overseas Students:
Overseas Students must pay the full fee. We can issue a receipt for you to be claimed by your insurance provider.
